Some consultants are afraid to communicate the full extent of what’s involved in building. Fearful of losing a client early with frank information, they don’t fully prepare the client for the potential issues ahead such as soil problems, easements, access to drainage, antiquated or failing structures. Then, when reality hits, the client is understandably upset. We believe in communicating honestly about any issues that could occur in advance so they can be mitigated through design and process integrity.
We know the importance of doing due diligence when launching your project. This may entail working with the geo-tech for a soils report, requesting easements. We find that when people try to take short cuts, it actually ends up costing time and dollars so we take the steps necessary to do things right from the start.
