The goal of this project was to transform an outdated retail property located on Mt. Diablo Boulevard between Lafayette Mercantile and La Fiesta Square to appeal to the distinctive and upscale communities of Lafayette, Orinda, and Moraga.  This required rigorus planning, communication and execution between the architect, structural engineer and builders to minimize business downtime during construction. Considerations included updated structural code changes, seismic upgrades, new structural elements and signage.
